Short Bio
Stefano Bovo was born in Padova in 1992.
He achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2016 and his Master Degree’s in Bioengineering in 2018 both from the University of Padova, Italy.
He finalized his Master Thesis under the supervision of Marco Loggia at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Boston(MA), focusing on PET and perfusion MRI data to study the cerebral blood flow contribution to the C11PBR28 tracer kinetic in patients with chronic pain and in non-human primates.
He is currently a PhD Student in Neuroscience at the Padova Neuroscience Center (PNC) sponsored by EBNeuro S.p.A., under the supervision of Prof. Dante Mantini and the co-supervision of Prof. Florinda Ferreri and Ing. Marco Rossi.
His research interests include new neuronavigation features for navigated TMS, pre-processing and analysis of TMS-EEG data, advanced diffusion MRI-based fiber tracking techniques and electromagnetic modeling.
