Short Bio
Ilaria Mazzonetto was born in 1987 in Padova, Italia. She received a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2010 and a Master Degree in Bioengineering in 2014, both from the University of Padova, Italy. Her Master thesis dealt with methods and models to study the effective connectivity of the default mode network derived from resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI).
She is currently a PhD student in Information Engineering (curriculum Bioengineering) under the co-supervision of Prof. Alessandra Bertoldo (Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova, Italia) and Prof. Antonino Vallesi (Department of Neuroscience/Cognitive Neuroscience Center, University of Padova, Italia). She has a scolarship for the project entitled: “Life Experience Modulations of Executive function Asymmetries”.
Now she is investigating the neuroanatomical correlates underlying the individual differences in cognitive control processes.
